In the Name of Beauty Episode 3: I Tried the “Dangerous” Practice of Ear Candling

In this episode of “In the Name of Beauty,” I head to Putri Spa in Bali to try the controversial practice of ear candling, which is also known as ear coning. Let me start off by staying that I was beyond nervous about ear candling. Putting a wax candle that is lit on fire in your ear sounded…well…dangerous!!

Spoiler Alert: I was too afraid to jump right into ear candling, so I start off the day with a decadent chocolate scrub and a wonderful Balinese massage. Balinese massage is based in principles of reflexology, so I figured that would help relax me before starting the ear candling treatment.
