Mandi Bunga is a traditional special floral bath practiced in a variety of different Southeast Asian cultures. The ritual itself is supposed to clear the body of negative energy and bring good fortune. Often, a woman seeking a life partner will engage in the practice of Mandi Bunga because it is said to help her attract a mate.
This rare flower bath is typically comprised of seven different types of flowers and kaffir lime. When Mandi Bunga is practiced for spiritual purposes, a bomoh, which is a Malaysian shaman or medicine man, will oversee the entire ritual. The ceremony can include incantations and prayers.
